KwelCare Community is a dedicated committed organization. Established in 2024, we strive to make a lasting impact by KwelCare. Our work focuses on specific areas of impact, such as education, health, environment, etc., with the aim of creating a positive and sustainable change in [target community or region].
Our team is driven by a shared vision of describe the long-term goal or vision, e.g., “a world where every child has access to education”. We collaborate with individuals, communities, and partners to bring resources, awareness, and solutions to the challenges we face today.
We understand that every family is a universe. A network of people who love, and support, and count on one other to be there. Everybody means the world to someone and we are committed to care for others so they can be there for the ones they love.

Personalized, Person-Centered Care
We believe that every individual deserves care that is tailored to their unique needs and preferences. At Nashoba, we prioritize each person’s autonomy, ensuring they are actively involved in their care decisions. Our team takes a holistic approach to understand not just the challenges, but also the strengths, of every individual, crafting support plans that center on their personal goals and well-being.
Diverse and Inclusive Leadership
Our commitment to diversity is reflected at every level of our organization. Our board includes professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including Indigenous Canadians and Black Canadian women, ensuring that our services are shaped by diverse perspectives. Additionally, our Medical Doctor (MD) is a lady with a Masters of Psychology in addition to her Doctor of Medicine. This leadership is pivotal in driving our culturally responsive, inclusive care.
Expert Care Team
Nashoba’s care team is composed of highly trained professionals, including nurses, medical doctors, and psychologists, all of whom have extensive experience—over 30 years—in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This blend of medical and psychological expertise ensures that we provide comprehensive care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of the people we serve.

As a qualified service provider under Community Living British Columbia (CLBC), we adhere to the highest standards of care and professionalism. This partnership ensures that we are always meeting and exceeding regulatory guidelines, providing families with peace of mind that their loved ones are in capable and trusted hands.
