More than a bed. A home — with support that makes sense.

Kwel delivers Staffed Living supports to adults living with HIV, hepatitis C, and concurrent mental health needs who were at risk of homelessness. Our experience demonstrates what the evidence tells us: combining clinical support with a stable home environment produces outcomes that stabilization alone does not — people move from surviving to building lives.

What Makes a Kwel Home Different

24/7 staffing — awake, trained, present

Clinical oversight — RN supervise medication, health monitoring, and coordination with doctors

Harm reduction — not a separate program, but how we care

Real meals — prepared on-site, shared together

Community connection — outings, relationships, a life beyond the front door

Who We Support

People living with HIV or hepatitis C who need medication support in a stable setting

Folks with mental health and substance use challenges who've been turned away elsewhere

Indigenous, Black, and racialized community members who deserve culturally safe care

Anyone at risk of homelessness who needs a place to land and something to build on
